Published rubric · v3.2

How we score bookmakers and bonuses.

Every bookmaker on this site is rated 0–10 across seven weighted criteria. Every bonus is graded against a 12-point T&C transparency checklist. Both rubrics are public, both are re-applied quarterly, and both are independent of commission rates.

Bookmaker rubric

Seven pillars, weighted by what bettors actually care about.

We weighted these from a 4,000-respondent reader survey on what drives bookmaker choice. Pillar weights are reviewed annually.

20%

Odds quality

Margin on top-50 football markets vs the market median, sampled weekly.

15%

Market range

Depth of pre-match and live markets, including bet builder and player props.

15%

Live betting

Latency, cash-out reliability and stream availability across leagues.

15%

Mobile experience

iOS / Android / mobile-web tested for speed, navigation and bet-slip UX.

15%

Payments

Deposit & withdrawal speed, fees, method coverage and KYC friction.

10%

Customer support

Live-chat hours, response time and quality of resolutions.

10%

Bonus value

Real expected value of welcome offers after wagering and exclusions.

Transparency rubric

The 12-point T&C transparency checklist.

Each box ticked = 1 point. Every bonus on this site shows its score so you know exactly how readable the small print is before you claim.

Process

How a review happens - start to publish.

    01

    License & risk

We verify the operator's license, jurisdiction and payment-method risk profile.

    02

    Live deposit test

We open a real account, deposit our own money, claim the bonus and play through it.

    03

    Score the rubric

Two analysts independently score the 7 pillars and 12 T&C points; differences are reconciled.

    04

    Publish & re-audit

We publish with a 'last reviewed' timestamp and re-audit every quarter - sooner if T&Cs change.

Editorial independence

Affiliate commissions fund this site, but commission rates do not influence scores. The commercial team has no input on rankings, scores, or whether a brand is delisted.

  • Commission rates never visible to scoring analysts.
  • Operators cannot pay for placement or for a higher score.
  • We've delisted top-paying brands when they failed transparency review.

Corrections & disputes

We publish a corrections log. If an operator disputes a score, the dispute and our response are added to that log - visible to every reader.

  • 48-hour response SLA on factual corrections.
  • Score changes carry a public changelog entry.
  • Reader-flagged issues prioritised over operator complaints.

Question a score? We'll show our working.

Email us with the bookmaker name and the pillar in question - we'll send back the raw scoring sheet for that brand within 48 hours.
